If you want to add some credibility to your website, an easy way to do that is to add some academic references. Here is a simple process you can use to do that.
Step One: Find References
If you already have some articles or books that you want to cite, you can skip this step. Otherwise, an easy way to find references is to do a search on Google Scholar. Find a reliable result and pull it up.

Step Two: Generate the Reference
Once you have a source that you want to cite, pull up an online reference generator like this one from Conversion Maps.

Put in the information and click the “Create Citation” button at the bottom. Once the citation is generated, you can select APA, MLA, or Chicago/Turabian style.
Step Three: Add the Citation to Your Website
After you have created the citation, copy the style you want and then paste it into your website.
